Cordoba

After Barcelona, Tarragona and Valencia I planned to rest for 2 days in a smaller city. I chose Cordoba. The city is completely different from how I imagined it. I don’t know if the beginning of the weekend is to blame, but the streets were full of people, good mood and festive atmosphere.

The city center is very complicated. It has many streets without signs. In the first half hour I tried to follow a route. But I realized that I was wasting my time, I put my map in my pocket and mixed in the crowd.

In the evening I lingered in a cathedral hidden among the houses. I stayed for more than half an hour and it was a great pleasure. I like Catholic services more and more. I’m seriously thinking about converting to Catholicism. Just for the services.

I saw some pretty girls. Tanned, with black hair and eyes, harmonious body and a very pleasant smile. In Cordoba I saw mandarins on the street for the first time. Their scent is very strong. So strong that I felt it with my ever-stuffy nose.

Around midnight I met a guy from India who was looking for an Indian restaurant. The guy organizes trips to India. He gave me his business card. So I already have contacts when I plan to get to India.

The hostel is very cool. I think the coolest hostel I’ve been to so far. Very nicely decorated, with a terrace above, bathroom in the room and luckily for me, almost empty. And it only cost me 15 EUR/night.
