Too far from what? Too close to what? When I moved out of London, I got this question so often, that I had to memorize the answer and say it over and over again: You moved to The Cotswolds? Isn’t it too far away? Too far away? I ask back. What do you mean by too far away? It could be too far from your world, your own bubble, but maybe it’s closer to mine. We tend to create our own bubbles and everything that is differen ...
Just cruising
My first cruise ship experience was as a photographer on Costa Magica. It wasn’t easy. A lot of work, not much to learn and selling the photos was a huge pain in the ass. I got out quickly and I said to myself that, at some point, I’ll get back on cruise ship as a passenger. That’s what happened this time. I embarked on Royal Caribbean‘s Jewel of the Seas. The itinerary was perfect: Puerto Rico, St. Croix, St. Maarten, Mar ...
Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is one of the biggest cruises hub on the world. That was the main reason why I’m here, right now. I’m staying a few nights here, before my departure to a 7 nights Cruise to the Caribbean. Puerto Rico, a Caribbean island and unincorporated U.S. territory is a nice mixture between north and south, between the new modern world and the old colonial heritage. Castillo San Felipe del Morro is one of my favourites ...
Ya man! No problem
Jamaica is one of my favourite Caribbean Islands. You know why? Because of the people, because of the chill-out atmosphere you see and feel everywhere. Because.. Ya man, No problem. This is how they answer to any question. That’s Jamaica spirit in one world.
Havana
Give me a cigar and let me enjoy my life!
A few days in Mexico
This picture has been taken on a beach in Tulum. After my visit in Mexico, Tulum became my favourite place for sunbathing, so far. Of course, Tulum is just a tiny dot on the Mexican map. Mexico is huge, with a lot of places to visit. I had the chance to get to Cancun, Chichen Itza and a random Cenote, but I can’t wait to get back to see the rest. Se you soon, Mexico.
Planet “Iceland”
Yeah, Iceland is another planet for me. Get there and tell me if I’m wrong.
Just a new city
Some see some houses, some see fun, some see opportunities, some see money, some see peace, some see career, others see family. In fact, it is just a new city. Aalborg is small city in Denmark, an ancient city where Viking ships once sailed past on the Limfjord. Aalborg has evolved to a vibrant cultural hotspot with a spectacular waterfront of iconic architectural buildings. How I got to visit Aalborg? Well, Life is simple, no? T ...
Digital nomad?
How great it is that I was born 32 years ago, not 132 years ago. How great it is that I can work in the garden, using just a phone, not in a factory, on a production line. Take advantage of the world in which we live, advantages that our grandparents did not have and never thought would be possible. Learn. Dream. Work.
Dream
Quiet, safe, clean air and lots of nature. That’s what defines the British countryside. And I like it. And I would like to live in a village with 40-50 houses, in a cottage around 1500. Somewhere where you can find a single pub, a church, a school and a post office.
